About Me

I am a licensed, registered clinical psychologist based in Nairobi County, Kenya. I help adults navigate life transitions, manage anger, resolve relationship and conduct problems, and process grief. I offer psychological and diagnostic assessment, relationship counseling, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) in a confidential setting.

Approach

I integrate evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, somatic and polyvagal-informed practices, and psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural techniques, tailoring each session to your unique process. My aim is to help you regulate, reconnect with your inner resources, and develop a deeper understanding of your patterns and responses.

Therapy with me is both reflective and practical; a collaborative process that supports you in expanding your capacity to tolerate emotions, process difficult experiences, and move toward a more grounded, empowered, and authentic version of yourself.

Services

One-on-one psychotherapy sessions, assessments, and emotional support are offered either virtually or in-person (Nairobi).

Each session is a collaborative process that begins with clinical interviewing, history taking, and psychological assessment to understand your patterns, experiences, and current challenges. Throughout this process, I offer a safe, compassionate, and grounded space where you can explore your emotions while learning tools to regulate and find stability.

As you build insight and emotional resilience, therapy helps you respond more effectively to emotional, mental, and psychological stressors, manage trauma responses, and address symptoms of mental health difficulties as they arise in your daily life.

You will also have the opportunity to process and integrate the more complex or painful parts of your experience by gradually expanding your window of tolerance through stabilisation techniques, somatic and polyvagal regulation, and, where appropriate, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) or other evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
