About Me
Approach
I'm a mental health professional with over 20 years of clinical experience helping clients to overcome personal obstacles. With a global perspective, I've cultivated through living and working in different countries and cultures. I comprehend the unique challenges a diverse environment and way of life can bring.
I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, teens and families from diverse communities. I spent fifteen years working in the U.S.A. as a family therapist and have worked in different sectors, from corporate and non-profit to education. I also specialise in workplace issues and challenges, especially within the not-for-profit sector.
As a psychotherapist, I focus on crafting attainable goals tailored specifically to you. I aim to provide a supportive environment where you can foster your creativity, regain motivation and equip yourself with the necessary tools to prioritise self-care, self-respect and self-esteem. Therapy is a voyage of self-love, self-exploration, and self-actualisation, where each step forward is a noteworthy achievement that deserves recognition.
My therapeutic approach is centred on you; together, we build trust, collaboration and connection. I draw upon various modalities tailored specifically to you and am committed to embracing all identities, irrespective of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, ability or religion.

Individuals: I offer a safe, transformative space for you to explore what is keeping you stuck. I will help you move past blocks and traumas in your life to a happy and healthier place and support you through the process of creating change within yourself. I will help you develop a strong and resilient mindset where you can push through your fears and overcome your challenges and difficulties.
Couples: When working with couples, I offer an impartial, non-judgmental perspective, allowing each client to feel seen and heard. I implement communication skills and empathy and develop an understanding of how each individual contributes to and experiences the relationship differently to build stronger connections and intimacy between partners.
Relationship Breakups: Breakups are one of the understated losses and events that happen in our lives. I specialise in helping you navigate and process complicated feelings and I provide the tools to move forward.
LGBTQ: As an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, I provide a caring, non-judgmental therapy presence. I support clients through all stages of gender and sexuality exploration, whether it is seeking support in coming out or exploring a relationship with your gender and sexuality.
Non-Traditional Relationships: Non-traditional relationships can be non-sexual, couples who have love but do not have sex with each other or anyone else; relationships where there is a significant disparity in age or finances; grandparents raising grandchildren, being friends with an ex, relationships involving three or more people, can be two gay men and a woman who cohabit and raise their children together. They can also be sex workers who are in stable relationships with their partners.
Expats: My training and experience working with clients from around the world and my own experience of living abroad give me a unique opportunity to work with expats from various backgrounds. I currently work with those living outside their home country, such as expats, digital nomads, frequent travellers, and third-culture kids. I work on issues specific to expats, such as cultural adjustment, homesickness, re-entry, repatriation, reverse culture shock, and navigating intercultural relationships; many of the topics I address in therapy are more general mental health issues.
