As a Clinical Social Worker, my primary role is to provide supportive services to clients who are experiencing difficulties, stress, trauma and any life changing event that they may be experiencing.
Understanding the client's experience is fundamental as each individual is unique and will require specific and optimal treatment.
A holistic approach will always be considered, taking into consideration the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual dimensions of a client.
The goal of counselling and therapy is that the client gains insights into their behaviour and that tools for coping are created and implemented to improve general functioning.
