Brooke

Mrs Brooke Singh

Therapist / Counselor (Qualifying)

Experienced resident in counseling working with children, adolescents and teens with trauma, autism, ADHD and LGBTQ+ focus. Extensive experience with child and family, special interest in working with transitioning teens and adults, as well as all things neurodivergent.

About Me

I offer a warm, understanding space for children, adolescents, and teens navigating big feelings. I have extensive experience supporting young people and families. My special interest is guiding neurodivergent individuals and those exploring their gender identity. We can gently explore complex emotions and build strategies together. My aim is to create a safe, collaborative environment where every part of you is truly welcome.

Approach

Therapy here unfolds at each young person's pace, attending to sensory needs, identity questions, and past hurts while keeping things approachable and clear. Sessions in Richmond or online, in English, blend play, conversation, and short skill-building activities to make progress feel doable. I use brief assessments, play-based tasks and collaborative planning so regulation, communication, and family strategies grow from what actually fits your life, with simple between-session experiments when helpful. This way of working tends to help neurodivergent youth, transitioning teens, and their families.
