Miss Aimee Wong

Art Therapist

I am a registered member British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a registered HCPC Art psychotherapist. With 10 years of experience in counselling, I have worked with a diverse range of individuals, including young people, families, couples, and those struggling with gambling disorders.

About Me

As an Art Therapist and Psychotherapist, I bring ten years of experience. I help diverse individuals navigate life's complexities, guiding young people, families, and couples. This includes those grappling with gambling disorders. We can use creative approaches to explore feelings and experiences words alone might miss. My aim is to offer a supportive space. Here, you can gain new perspectives and build inner strength. This blend helps many find their unique voice.

Approach

I guide sessions by alternating artmaking with short, focused reflection so feelings become visible and manageable rather than overwhelming. I offer in-person work in London and online sessions in Cantonese, Mandarin or English, keeping pace flexible to suit school schedules or shift work. For children I use structured creative tasks alongside observation to inform diagnostic thinking; for adults we build small experiments between meetings to track stress, triggers and new skills. This approach tends to suit people seeking a practical, expressive route to clearer choices.
