Ms Dimitra Tsiaka

Licensed Psychologist

I am a psychologist and therapist living in the Netherlands. I work online with expats and offer sessions in English and Greek. My goal is to help you reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and patterns and understand what is important for you.

About Me

I work online, offering expats a dedicated space to reflect on their thoughts, feelings, and patterns. We can gently explore what truly matters to you, fostering understanding and clarity. Sessions in English or Greek provide accessible support, helping you make sense of your experiences. This approach is ideal for navigating the unique challenges of living abroad and finding stability.

Approach

Working online from Leiden, I guide expats through short, practical steps that help them recognise recurring thoughts and emotional patterns and make clearer choices. Sessions move at a steady, collaborative pace: we notice triggers, test small experiments between meetings, and use straightforward techniques to reduce anxiety, improve mood, and rebuild confidence. I keep language simple in English or Greek, and we tailor homework and timing to school, work, and family rhythms. This approach often suits adolescents and adults navigating abuse, career shifts, relationships, or burnout.
