Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, providing therapy to clients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, and Florida. With over a decade of professional experience, I specialize in relationship issues, family conflict, and relational trauma.

About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. I provide online and in-person psychotherapy, Brainspotting, and relationship counseling to families, couples, and individuals coping with trauma and relationship issues.

Approach

Using evidence-based psychotherapy methods, I love helping my clients overcome and persevere no matter how they might have felt when they first came to me. I am passionate about helping people gain insight into their thoughts, unhelpful beliefs, and behavioral patterns that hold them back in life. My trainings in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy allow me the flexibility and freedom to customize my approach based on my client's needs.

Services

After more than a decade of professional experience in the field, I have a keen understanding of the complexities of the relationships we build. As a Couple and Family Therapist, I focus on both the individual and the relationship unit when working with my clients to open up lines of communication. This comprehensive approach sets me apart from the rest.

As a culturally competent therapist with extensive international experience, I enjoy working with individuals and couples from all backgrounds. I am Bilingual and Turkish, having completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Istanbul University before earning a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences there. I went on to earn my second Master’s Degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University.

I cater to a variety of clients, and I specialize in relationship issues, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and loss. During my career, I have counseled hundreds of domestic violence survivors, led anger management groups, taught seminars and classes worldwide, and spent more than ten years helping clients in the field.
