Operating as an acute inpatient psychiatric service, we focus on how treatment fits into each person’s day-to-day recovery rather than abstract plans. On the wards in Umgungundlovu and in follow-up clinics, sessions are structured, time-limited and centered on immediate safety, clear pacing and practical coping rehearsals. We collaborate with you to set small, measurable goals, practice skills in-session, and coordinate with nursing and allied teams between contacts to ease transitions home. This steady, hands-on approach suits people needing clear, organised support through crisis and recovery.
