Gizem Heimdahl

Psychologist

I earned my Master's in Budapest and specialized in Clinical and Health Psychology at ELTE University. My work and internship experiences helped me to practice in different areas such as clinical, school, and nursing homes. The goal of my work is to help people through difficult times and improve their well-being.

About Me

My aim is to support individuals navigating life's difficult moments and to enhance their overall well-being. My varied experience, gained across clinical, school, and nursing home settings, means I can offer tailored support to a diverse range of clients. In our sessions, we can explore your unique challenges to find practical ways forward, helping you feel more grounded and resilient.

Approach

My training and varied placements shaped a hands-on, collaborative pace in sessions where we break concerns into manageable steps. I see online, offering sessions in English and Turkish with clear agendas and gentle pacing to help you feel steady. Work often includes short practical experiments, attention to cultural context, and occasional advocacy between sessions to keep progress humane and realistic. People facing transitions, anxiety, grief or relationship strain tend to find this straightforward, steady approach helpful.
