Hope for Families Counselling Centre

Hope for Families Counselling Centre

We provide innovative psychotherapy to meet your needs including collaboration with psychiatrists.

About Us

We are a psychotherapy centre offering sessions by phone and video to clients throughout Ontario. We offer individual, relationship , and family therapy. We are also able to access psychiatric assessments with our clients when needed through our partnership with the Psychotherapy Matters Virtual Clinic. These can include diagnosis, medication, and treatment recommendations. Our approach is person centered so we can find what best meets your needs together. We have a team so there is a fit for you with your therapist.

Approach

We blend structured, goal-focused conversation with gentle flexibility so sessions feel purposeful yet relaxed. Whether meeting online of by phone in English, clients can expect a mix of reflective inquiry, practical skill-building and collaborative care planning—sometimes with allied professionals involved when helpful. Between sessions we encourage small, measurable experiments to try new ways of relating and coping, then review what worked. This approach suits people and families seeking grounded, adaptable support that fits real life.
