Jacqueline Pearce

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors

An experienced, competent and compassionate LMHC working predominantly with children and young adults.

About Me

This counsellor gently guides children and young adults through life's complexities. They cultivate a safe, understanding space where young people can openly express themselves and explore their feelings. Together, they build resilience and develop practical strategies for managing emotions and difficult situations. This approach helps young individuals feel heard and empowered, providing them with tools to confidently face their world. The focus remains on their unique journey towards well-being and growth.

Approach

With experience supporting young people, my work focuses on practical, collaborative steps that feel manageable and respectful of each person's pace. In Rockville Center I meet clients in person and through secure online sessions, working in English and including parents or caregivers when helpful. Sessions blend short check-ins, activity-based exploration for children, and collaborative problem-solving for anxiety, mood, or behavior, often with brief between-session practices to build skills. This steady, skills-focused way often helps teens and families navigating change.
