Jamilla Y. I.

Ms Jamilla Y. I. Chele

Counseling Psychologist

My mission is to inspire hope—especially among adults carrying the often-invisible weight of life’s demands. I believe in the power of unburdening: fighting the battles of the mind, finding courage in the face of everyday struggles, and practicing compassion and grace toward ourselves and those around us. Unburdening is not just a therapeutic process—it’s a way of living with intention, healing, and resilience. If you're ready to take the first step towards unburdening yourself and creating a more balanced, fulfilling life, I invite you to reach out for a consultation. Together, we can explore how to navigate life’s challenges, build healthier relationships, and prioritize your mental well-being. Contact me today to schedule an appointment or learn more about how we can begin this journey.

About Me

I support individuals in navigating the challenges of daily life. My work focuses on helping clients develop healthy coping strategies, build stronger relationships—with themselves and others—and achieve personal and professional growth through self-awareness and development. I also use evidence-based interventions in the treatment of mental health conditions, always with the aim of improving overall well-being.

Approach

Client-centered: I focus on understanding who you are, where you are in your journey, what you would like to gain from therapy and how best I can support you through the application of evidence-based therapeutic techniques which promote well-being and encourage positive responses to life.
