Dr Jenna Zucchi

Licensed Clinical Psychologists

I am a psychologist who treats children, adolescents, and young adults specializing in anxiety, depression, and disruptive behaviors.

About Me

I help children, adolescents, and young adults navigate anxiety, depression, and disruptive behaviours. My aim is to create a supportive space where young people can explore their feelings and understand what's happening. We then develop practical strategies for daily life, building resilience and confidence. This tailored approach helps young people and families manage emotions and foster well-being through clear, actionable ways.

Approach

When a child, teen, or young adult arrives feeling overwhelmed by worry, low mood, or acting out, I focus on clear, manageable steps we can try together. In sessions — in person in New York or online in English — I use short, paced check-ins, teach simple skill drills, and map how thoughts, sensations, and actions link day-to-day. I collaborate with parents between meetings through brief summaries and practical suggestions so progress transfers into home and school. This hands-on, steady work often fits families seeking straightforward tools and support.
