Miss Jey Kirouac, BPsych

Therapeutic Counselor

Verified

I offer online therapy in French and English to individuals navigating life transitions, emotional stress, relational challenges, and questions of identity or meaning. My work is especially supportive for people living abroad, Third Culture Kids (TCKs), and those going through periods of uncertainty or change. Sessions focus on emotional awareness, self-understanding, and developing greater emotional autonomy within a respectful, collaborative therapeutic relationship.

About Me

I am a person-centered online therapist with a humanistic and experiential orientation. My work is grounded in presence, empathic listening, and respect for each person’s inner authority. Sessions are relational, reflective, and paced according to what feels accessible, rather than directive or technique-driven. I completed a three-year professional training in humanistic, experiential therapy at the Centre de Relation d’Aide de Montréal (CRAM), grounded in the Non-Directive Creative Approach. I also continue to deepen my practice through ongoing training focused on life transitions and emotional regulation. I work with adults who are seeking space to explore emotions, clarify needs, and better understand themselves during periods of transition, stress, or relational difficulty.

Approach

My approach is person-centered, humanistic, and experiential. I emphasize the quality of the therapeutic relationship, emotional awareness in the present moment, and a collaborative process that supports clarity, self-responsibility, and emotional autonomy. Sessions may include reflective dialogue, attention to bodily sensations, creative or experiential exercises, and gentle structure when helpful, always adapted to the individual.
