Julie McLennan

Counselor

I provide counselling, psychoeducation & community for the neurodiverse (people who have always felt 'other' and are looking for answers and support).

About Me

If you've always felt 'other', I offer a space where you can find genuine understanding. Through Counseling, we explore your experiences, and with psychoeducation, we make sense of how your unique brain works. I also provide community connections, so you can find support and belonging. This holistic approach helps those seeking answers transform feelings of difference into clarity and confidence about who they are.

Approach

After exploring your experiences, I focus on turning insight into clear, manageable steps so your days feel more predictable and less exhausting. I offer in-person meetings in Calgary and secure online counselling in English, meeting you where it fits your life and sensory needs. Sessions are practical and collaborative—short skill-practice, mapping triggers and strengths, and simple between-session plans that address attention, overwhelm, or addictive patterns. People who have long carried a sense of difference often find this steady, hands-on rhythm grounding and clarifying.
