About Me

I am a clinical psychologist practising in Rosebank, Cape Town, I offer therapy online and in person to adults. I have always been fascinated by the healing journey and the process of becoming. While people come to therapy for different reasons; for insight, guidance, conflict, grief, to unlock greater creative potential, or to gain tools to manage powerful emotions like anxiety & depression. I offer a respectful space to assist you to process, bear, and make meaning of difficult experiences.

Approach

“The most authentic thing about us is our capacity to create, to overcome, to endure, to transform, to love and to be greater than our suffering.” ― Ben Okri I feel, that as human beings we all suffer, we carry unique wounds that we must bear. The therapy I offer facilitates a path towards finding a place of deep healing, resonance and connection. Through the exploration of memories, dreams, thoughts, feelings and internal and external conflicts, the therapeutic relationship offers, containment, insight, and healing reflections. My approach blends focused, compassionate listening, gentle containment of difficult feelings and analytic reflections about dreams and childhood memories. It is a space for containment, compassion, insight and connection to soul. “In the end we will only be transformed when we can recognise and accept the fact that there is a will within each of us, quite outside the range of conscious control, a will which knows what is right for us, which is repeatedly reporting to us via our bodies, emotions, and dreams, and is incessantly encouraging our healing and wholeness.” ― James Hollis
