Licensed Clinical Psychologists

An experienced, empathetic, LGBT-friendly, clinical psychologist and psychotherapist

About Me

As an experienced clinical psychologist, I offer a warm, empathetic space where you can feel truly heard and understood. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds, including the LGBT community, ensuring an affirming environment for everyone. We can collaboratively explore your concerns, using open dialogue to make sense of challenges and find new ways forward. This approach helps you build resilience and achieve greater well-being.

Approach

We begin by listening closely to your story and gently mapping patterns that feel stuck, then set short, practical goals together. Sessions are conversational and paced to suit you — available face-to-face in Kolkata or online, and conducted in English, Bengali, Hindi/Urdu or Tamil to make the work accessible. I blend reflective dialogue with skills practice and mindfulness exercises between sessions so change carries into daily life. This way of working often suits adolescents and adults seeking clearer coping and calmer relationships.
