Mrs Regina Banda

Licensed Clinical Psychologists

A passionate trauma informed therapist with special interest in neurodevelopmental disorders and child and adolescent mental wellness. Experienced in individual, couples and group therapy. Offers skills training to parents and caregivers

About Me

I help children, adolescents, and their families navigate mental wellness, especially when neurodevelopmental differences are present. My trauma-informed approach creates a safe space for exploring feelings in individual, couple, or group sessions. I offer practical skills training for parents and caregivers, ensuring support extends beyond the therapy room. This helps families build resilience, understand complex emotions, and find clear pathways forward.

Approach

To help families translate difficult moments into manageable steps, I move from understanding to small, practical experiments you can try at home. In Beatrice I see children, teens and caregivers in English, pacing sessions to suit attention spans and using visual tools and quiet guided imagery when words feel limited. Between meetings we set simple routines, brief skill-practice and observation notes that inform assessment and steady progress. This way of working tends to suit families seeking clear, trauma-aware support that honours neurodiverse needs.
