Ms Janice Hall

Psychotherapist (Registered)

I am an Registered Psychotherapist with 24 years of experience working with adults and teens who are experiencing trauma, depression and anxiety.

About Me

I offer a grounded space where adults and teens can explore trauma, depression, and anxiety. With 24 years' experience, I guide you to understand difficult feelings and find new ways forward. We work collaboratively, at your own pace, to process experiences and build resilience. My aim is for you to feel truly heard and supported. I help you make sense of challenges and move towards greater well-being.

Approach

Sessions move at a steady, respectful pace that honours your timing and readiness. I meet clients in Newmarket, Ontario or through secure online sessions in English, and I encourage short practices between appointments to help skills land in daily life. We work with mindful attention to the body, practical cognitive steps and gentle processing so anxious moments calm and traumatic memories lose their hold. This way of working often helps people at different life stages seeking collaborative, paced support toward greater steadiness.
