Smriti Kamath

Counselor

I approach clients with curiosity, care, and compassion to create a safe space for them to feel seen and understood. I work from a client-centered, relational, and social-justice-informed point of view and use an eclectic approach. My practice is queer affirmative and welcoming of adults from all walks of life.

About Me

I offer a space where you can truly be yourself, fostering an environment of curiosity and care. My client-centred approach draws on an eclectic mix of methods to meet your unique needs. I welcome adults from all backgrounds, including queer individuals, ensuring you feel seen and understood. Together, we explore your experiences and find meaningful ways forward.

Approach

You’ll notice sessions blend gentle curiosity with practical steps, creating space to explore feelings, stories and values while staying grounded. In my Bengaluru practice and online, in English or Hindi/Urdu, we move at a steady pace — sometimes using mindfulness, creative exercises or short between-session practices — to gently track patterns, process wounds, and test new ways of relating. Therapy is collaborative and relational, with attention to safety and identity. This approach often suits adults and couples seeking growth after transitions, trauma, or relationship struggles.
