Varenya Prasad, MSc
Psychologist
Verified“I work with young adults (18+) and couples who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about what needs to change in their lives. Most people come to therapy because something does not feel right in their relationships, at work, or within themselves, even if they cannot yet put it into words. My work focuses on helping clients slow down, make sense of what they are experiencing, and understand the patterns that shape their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Many people come in saying they do not know exactly what they need, only that they want things to feel different. Together, we explore what that “different” might look like, and how to move towards it in a way that feels realistic and sustainable. Rather than offering advice or quick solutions, I provide space for reflection, emotional processing, and self-understanding. Therapy with me is about learning to regulate emotions, build awareness, and develop coping skills, while also giving yourself permission to feel what needs to be felt. I offer both individual therapy and couples therapy, and I place strong importance on the therapeutic relationship itself. Feeling heard and understood is often where meaningful change begins.”
